How to get Android Oreo Notification Shade looks and features on almost any smartphone? (No Root Required)
It has now been a while since the release of Android Oreo but no smartphone has yet got the update expect some Google phones. One of the major changes in the update was the new quick settings look and snoozing notifications feature which was really impressive. So, the question arises that how can you get it on your smartphone without any root access required? Here is the answer for you.
I don't know if you know about this app or not. This app is Material Notification Shade. And this app can turn your notification shade and quick settings into material design of Nougat or Oreo, no matter what phone you are using.
If you are wondering how does it do this all stuff, here's how? In actual, it does not change your notification shade but draws another one over them and so, doesn't requires any root.
Not only changing the way your notifications look but also brings some other features too. You can reply directly from notifications, snooze them, colour music notifications according to the album picture, rearrange the quick settings and much more. They are customisable too but some things will need the paid version.
Here are some screenshots showing what the app offers...
There are drawbacks in the app too. First of all, it crashed a lot of times while I was testing it on two of my phones. And you can't actually click all the quick settings toggle but it will send you to the settings of that toggle.
These cons however gets hidden in the great look and idea of the app. You should definately give it a try if you haven't yet. It can work even on Android Lollipop 5.1.
