Nova Launcher v5.5 beta (finally) brings adaptive icons support

One of the best features Android Oreo bright was the adaptive icons in which developers can make different icon shapes so that the user can choose one according to his like our dislike.

Yesterday, Nova Launcher v5.5 came up on Play Store with adaptive icons support. At this moment, I don't think they are working well and are a little bit buggy. By default, they are turned off in the launcher settings.

There are almost only the Google apps supporting the feature with some few others. For those apps, Nova intelligently changes the background with the primary colour of that icon. I don't know if they support only default icons or different icon packs too because on my phone, only when icons are selected to system, the feature works.

Anyway, if you also want to give it a try, you can sign in as a beta tester for Nova launcher or install the APK file from the link given down below.
