Everything you need to know about android nougat

Android 7.0 Nougat is a significant update over Marshmallow. Android 7.0 Nougat follows on the successful material design first seen with the launch of Marshmallow but adds new design elements to notifications.
The single major update with Android 7.0 Nougat is the split-screen multitasking feature. The feature works only with handful of apps but should add support for all apps very soon. The feature is ideal for surfing the web and chatting with your friend on WhatsApp. However, some Google apps lack support for this feature.
Android N also offers a new notifications panel with quick access to standard features like WiFi, Bluetooth, et cetera. There is also new bundled notifications which give access to notifications from same app in the form of thread. Android N also adds Direct Reply feature which basically allows users to reply directly from within the notification panel. Google basically wants users to skip accessing apps and get things done directly from the notification tray.
