Make a great use with your Omnibox

You can use your Omnibox for weather forecast, setting a timer, doing calculation and the list goes on. But there are some complex tricks too.

For the trick I am going to tell, headover to settings and go to manage search engines, there you can setup the website to search from. Then write your keyword and press TAB and you are good to go.

Fill your Autofill data manually

Autofill is one of the best features on Chrome which saves your time by autofilling the data. But what if you had reseted your account or something else, then what can you do?

Guess what? You can manually update your autofill data.
For the same, head over to your advanced settings of Chrome. Then go to 'Passwords and Forms'. Now click on 'Mange autofill Settings'. Here you are, fill the data and you are good to go.

Gestures

Gestures are interesting to use and easy. Let's get an eye on them.

1. You can swipe left or right on the address bar on your Android phone to switch between different tabs. Cool Yeah!

2. You can swipe down from the address bar on Android phone to get all your tabs at one place.

3. Pull down from the top of the page to refresh it.

4. On an iPhone, swiping up brings different options like refreshing, open a new tab, closing the tab.

Reading Mode

Some websites have annoying ads (☺ I don't show any ads on my website ☺) which can make your reading boring. You can enable reading mode on Chrome by going to chrome://flags and finding 'reading mode' and enable it. After that, opening any website will show you an option to enable it at the bottom.

Watch Any File or Video on Chrome

All we use is VLC to watch video in any format. But, in case you can't use it or don't have the application, then your Chrome works. Select the video or file you want to see and drag it to Chrome. This is really cool.

Easter Eggs!

Google is known for giving Easter eggs in it's different apps. Let's take a look which are taken by Chrome?

1. T-REX Offline Game

If you are not having an internet connection, open Chrome. Click on the dinosaur on the offline page and it will start running for a simple classic game.

2. Flip it all over

Open the tab switcher and swipe down to up five times and it will flip all over.

3. Make a smiley

Don't have anything to do, open Chrome and open 100 tabs and now Chrome will show a smiley instead of total number of tabs open.
