Head Product of Google Allo confirms Allo on desktop just in a few weeks

A great application application with mind blowing features but lacking some common features. Yes, I am talking about Google Allo which set fire in the start but slowing down in a small amount of time. This doesn't mean that Google will leave the app alone but features are being added to it very consistantly. Amit Fulay, Head of Product for Google Allo and Duo, tweeted yesterday that the desktop client is still a few weeks away. This feature was noticed a few months ago. Android O releasing on this 21st, very much confirmed that it will be Android Oreo

Google has just confirmed that Android O will be releasing on August 21st with post  on Android. The post also has some info on the solar eclipse happening that day. It will be live streamed from New York starting at 2:40 P.M. ET. There are only two days left according to that which means our wait is nearly over. But there's one more big thing to tell. In a video teaser, posted on Google+ via Google themselves for Android O has file name 'GoogleOreo_Teaser_0817_noDroids (1).mp4' which states that it is going to be Android Oreo.  The story of this situation doesn't stopped here. Because of getting so much attention to that file name it was then renamed to 'OctopusTeaser.mp4'.  My mind says that someone by mistake gave the file name to oreo. And after getting the knowledge of the whole happening, it was changed to octopus. I think it can be also some sort of game by Google to make us feel confused.  But we can do only one thing till 21st, wait...

Allo for web arrives with all the great functionality but just in your Chrome

Allo was not much liked by the people but this doesn't stops the team at Google working on the app. With many new small tweaks, it finally arrives with Allo for web. The process is just to open pretty simple. Just open  allo.google.com/web  on your browser and scan the QR Code and you are done. But... there comes a twist. It only works with Google Chrome Browser. If you are using any other browser, it will prompt you a message for downloading Google Chrome. This is all the same design and I also found almost all the basic functions like Incognito Mode, Chat Theme, etc., given in the app working properly on web too. Also, keyboard shortcuts are provided to use while surfing Allo on the web. Thumbs up for that! There's one thing that asking the Assistant to play any game will bring only links without any big sort of cards like in the app. I was wanting a feature in the web app which would be able to open my Allo chats and contacts with the help of my E-M...
