This is really what we wanted: Oreo!
Android 8.0 is finally after our wait and developer previews for months is now officially Android Oreo. I know this late but this is because of the time difference in India and America.
If you don't know here are the best features and improvements of Android Oreo update.
The New Settings UI
Google has changed the whole settings with a white-type of look. They have removed the hamburger menu, which they added to the settings in Android Nougat. Now, there are less number of tabs and many settings have been shifted.
Snoozing Notifications
Yes, you read it right, you can now snooze your notifications for 15, 30 or 60 minutes and they will arrive again after the time overs.
Quick Settings
This not a big deal but the tiles in the quick settings can now only be expanded by clicking on the text below the icon, not that icon.
Whole New Emojis Set
The newest version of Android (Oreo, officially) does overhaul something near and dear to most smartphone user’s hearts: Emoji. Google has done away with its “blob” style smileys in favor of more traditional-looking (I guess?) smileys
Notification Dots
With Android Oreo, Google is giving the experience a bit of a revamp. "Notification Dots" are small, circular blobs that sit on top of your app icons. They'll only appear when you have an unread notification -- long-tap and you'll get a quick preview in the form of speech-like bubbles.
Adaptive Icons
Adaptive Icons means that icons will be adapted by the icons in the launcher. Like, a launcher uses round icons, then third-party app's icons will automatically become round.
Picture-in-Picture Support
We have already seen this in the YouTube app. But now, it can also be used on the whole device. For example, you will be be able to see videos even when you are working with any other app.

Now, there's a file explorer built-in called 'Files' and also the 'Downloads' app is gone from the app drawer.
Unknown Sources
Downloading a third-party app was so easy that you just have to click the Unknown Sources button in the Settings once and you don't have to do anything. In Android O Developer Preview, You firstly have to grant permission to the through which you are downloading the app.
