One of the best features Android Oreo bright was the adaptive icons in which developers can make different icon shapes so that the user can choose one according to his like our dislike. Yesterday, Nova Launcher v5.5 came up on Play Store with adaptive icons support. At this moment, I don't think they are working well and are a little bit buggy. By default, they are turned off in the launcher settings.   There are almost only the Google apps supporting the feature with some few others. For those apps, Nova intelligently changes the background with the primary colour of that icon. I don't know if they support only default icons or different icon packs too because on my phone, only when icons are selected to system, the feature works. Finally, after completing 100 posts just a few days ago, today we are 1 year strong and going on without any worry. For this great day, I had done something different and also very much interesting. From today onwards, you will be able to chat with me... hmmmm... not me, but with my bot. Yes, you heard it right. Clicking the bottom-right button on this page enables it. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 had launched just a few hours ago. The phone is very much similar to its previous version. Let's see what's new. The phone has now a smaller display of 5.99 inch than the previous having a 6.44 inch display. The company says that they reduced the chin below the screen by 12 percent. There is no dual camera system on the phone as expected. It is now more rounded and these rounded corners are now more visible. The one thing that everyone cares in a phone are its specs. Apple has now announced the thing for what we were waiting from months. Apple has officially told us that it is going to have an 'Apple Special Event' on this September 12th. We will be seeing the next big thing here - the iPhone 8. Along with it, we can see some updates to the Apple Watch and Apple TV. We will also be seeing the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus models in the event. It is widely expected that the iOS 11 which is in beta development since it has been announced in the Apple WWDC event. The teaser on Apple's website doesn't tell much about anything going to be announced, it just says “Let’s meet at our place”, as this is the first event Apple in the Steve Jobs Theater on its new Apple Park campus in Cupertino. We are going to have a lot of amazing new stuff at the event. JUST 11 DAYS!!!

It has been a while now since Android Police gave us a leaked image of Pixel 2 and many other leaks of the phone started coming. We came to know about the bezel-less design, squeezable frame, 4GB of RAM, a 5.99" 1440p panel will be on the XL. Now, leaker Evan Blass has tweeted and confirmed that this phone is releasing on October 5th with a Snapdragon 836 processor and will be the first one to have. Google's second-generation Pixel handsets, powered by Snapdragon 836 SoC's, will be unveiled on October 5th. — Evan Blass (@evleaks) August 24, 2017 Firstly there were doubts about the processor but yes, the will have an updated version of the Snapdragon 835 processor.  The first Pixel phone was released on 4th October last year by Google last year at the Made By Google event.
